*Get on the Scale: Using a kitchen scale to measure your coffee & water will help you get a more precise coffee to water ratio which is one of the most important details in brewing consistency (for auto drip coffee or pour over).
*Coffee Methods: Here are some tips to find the brewing method that speaks to your coffee tastes.
If you like extra body and richness in the mouthfeel of your coffee than you will prefer a French Press.
If you like medium texture in the mouthfeel of your coffee, you would like a reusable metal filtered pour over (without a paper filter). For this option you can order a Kone Filter and use it with a 6 or 8 cup Chemex.
If you like a "clean sip" cup of coffee similar to what you taste from an autodrip brewer, you should use a pour over option with a paper filter. My recommendation is the Hario V60 with the matching filters.
*Add a "Gooseneck" Kettle : This will offer precision to your water temperature and pour. This helps your coffee grinds brew evenly and is a tool to protect your pour over brew from messy coffee grind splatters that come with a regular water kettle.
